The Cumbres Vitacura Hotel holds two “S” Seal certificates for Sustainable Tourism awarded by Sernatur, as well as its LEED certification in recognition of its efficient design in the consumption of energy and water. One of the keystones of the hotel’s sustainability policy is its water savings program, with ventilators in all guest rooms that considerably reduce expenses, generating savings of over 45% in the drinking water used in bathrooms and appliances. Solar panels have been installed for heating water, thus saving over 19% of the energy used. Also, firmly installed in the hotel’s philosophy is its paper, cardboard, glass, can, plastic and fried oil recycling protocols and, from a social point of view, we are actively involved in three Foundations: Mujer Impacta, Smartrip and América Solidaria.
